Sarangua Mijiddorj is an Honored Athlete of Mongolia and a distinguished figure in the country’s sports sector, with more than 30 years of continuous professional activity as an athlete, coach, judge, researcher, and performance consultant in sambo, judo, and bodybuilding & fitness.
She was born on February 19, 1974, in Ulaanbaatar. She began training in sambo and judo in 1988 and later expanded into bodybuilding and fitness in 1998. At a time when women’s participation in these disciplines was relatively limited in Mongolia, she became part of the early generation that actively contributed to expanding competitive opportunities for female athletes in these sports.

Sarangua is a seven-time Mongolian National Bodybuilding & Fitness Champion.
In 2010, Sarangua earned a silver medal at the Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness Championships.
In bodybuilding & Fitness, she earned the Mongolian Overall Champion title, 'Miss Mongolia', on four occasions.
In 2004 and 2005, she won the bodybuilding category at the IFBB Asian Championships in consecutive years, becoming a two-time Asian Champion.
In 2004, Sarangua was awarded Mongolia’s “Best Athlete of the Year” (Bort Chono Award), marking it the first time this honor was awarded to an athlete from bodybuilding and fitness
In 1993, Sarangua won a silver medal at the World Sambo Championships.
In 1993, Sarangua earned three bronze medals at the Asian Sambo Championships.
Since 2002, Sarangua Mijiddorj has worked with members of Mongolian national teams, contributing to preparation for Olympic-level and world-class competitions. Her professional activity has focused on strength development, power output, stability, training load management, and recovery methodologies adapted for elite sport environments.
Her work emphasizes the integration of training with nutrition planning, supplementation, and hydration management based on applied sports science principles. She has collaborated with athletes who have achieved medals at Olympic and World Championship events, providing structured professional support related to training preparation, recovery processes, and nutritional coordination.
At both national and international levels, she has participated in short- and long-term training programs, one-on-one coaching (personal training), educational initiatives, and consulting activities. Internationally, her professional work is commonly described under the designation High-Performance Sport Consultant.
Sarangua Mijiddorj earned a Master’s degree from the Moscow State Academy of Physical Education. Since 2022, she has been pursuing doctoral research in nutrition and nutritional science at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
Her research focuses on the interrelationship between athlete nutrition, supplementation, and recovery processes, and how these factors influence preparation and performance at Olympic and world-class levels of sport. Research outcomes are developed based on laboratory measurements and applied research data, with an emphasis on practical implementation within real training environments. This applied and interdisciplinary approach aligns with current international trends in sports science research.
